I, ROBOT

"I,ROBOT" is a famous collection of short Science Fiction stories written by Isaac Asimov, who is one of big three of SF novel writer as well as A. C. Clarke and R. A. Heinlein. In this novel a phrase which is famous principles of Robotics "Three Laws of Robotics" was used for the first time in the world.

Three laws of Robotics

1.A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

2.A robot must obey any orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First law.

3.A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second law.

In this story, Susan Calvin, the chief robot psychologist, solves a large number of mysteries about strange behaviors of robots. For example, one robot should have killed one person, but three laws of robots in the robot's brain are absolute. Did the robot kill a human being?
